Community service is an implementation of one of the elements of the Tridharma of Higher Education with the main objective of applying academic concepts to provide benefits to the wider community. This community service research aims to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in writing scientific papers, especially at SD Negeri 1 Ngasem Jepara. A participation-based approach is applied through focus group discussions (FGD), training, mentoring, and evaluation. This method involves various parties, including teachers, students, and school stakeholders, to create effective collaboration in overcoming the obstacles faced by teachers, namely the low ability to write scientific papers. The results of the community service show an increase in teacher competence in understanding and implementing academic writing techniques. Teachers succeeded in compiling drafts of scientific papers that were relevant to learning, although some required further mentoring related to data analysis and citation. As a follow-up, teachers were encouraged to perfect their work and publish it in educational journals or seminars. With a participatory approach and ongoing support, this activity is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of teacher professionalism and education at SD Negeri 1 Ngasem Jepara.
