Abstract

The development of digital technology has impacted the lives of children, including students in the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). Children not only need the ability to use digital devices, but also need to be equipped with ethics, caution, and Islamic values in interacting in the digital space. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of child-friendly Islamic digital literacy for students of TPQ AT TAQWA Sedayu Regency. The program is implemented through education, introduction to Islamic digital content, interactive learning, creative practice, reflection, and a pledge to use digital media wisely. The activity evaluation was carried out using a pretest and posttest design on 32 participants. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score of 71.34 increased to 81.34 in the posttest, with an average difference of 10.00 points. The t-test results showed a t value = -15.154, df = 31, and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 or p < 0.001, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. This finding indicates that child-friendly Islamic digital literacy activities are effective in improving students' understanding of the wise, safe, and Islamic-based use of digital media.
