Exclusive breastfeeding remains a challenge in many countries, including Indonesia. Limited knowledge and low maternal confidence in breastfeeding are among the factors affecting the success of exclusive breastfeeding practices. This community service program aimed to improve pregnant women’s knowledge and confidence regarding breastfeeding through antenatal breastfeeding education. The activity was conducted at Kalirandu Gede Village Hall, Cepiring District, Kendal Regency, and involved 10 pregnant women, some of whom were accompanied by their husbands. The program consisted of three stages: Preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Breastfeeding education was delivered through lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and interactive question-and-answer sessions covering the benefits of breastfeeding, breastfeeding techniques, positioning and attachment, and exclusive breastfeeding practices. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test questionnaires consisting of 10 knowledge questions and 5 questions related to breastfeeding confidence. The results showed an improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the average score increasing from 84.4 to 96.7. Maternal confidence in breastfeeding also increased, with the average score rising from 4.3 to 7.8. Most misconceptions regarding breastfeeding decreased after the educational intervention. Breastfeeding education through antenatal classes was effective in improving pregnant women’s knowledge and confidence in preparing for exclusive breastfeeding. This activity is expected to support successful breastfeeding practices and improve maternal and infant health outcomes.
